BONNYE BLEVINS is an International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association Certified Instructor. Introduced to pickleball in the spring of 2022, she loved it so much she became an instructor in August 2023. As a nurse with the love of helping others and natural ability to teach, she fell in love with teaching pickleball. Bonnye’s previous sports background has been a great asset, former college tennis player, ping pong, racquetball, softball, volleyball and basketball. Whether you are a beginner or currently play pickleball and want to be competitive, Bonnye can help you achieve your goal!
Bonnye’s high energy, enthusiastic personality and patience allows her to teach any age group. Her love for pickleball encompasses the fun, social aspect, challenge and strategy. Whether you are a recreational player or want to be competitive and play tournaments, Bonnye can teach you the skills needed. There are always opportunities to improve your game if desired and it is a great way to exercise for all ages.

Bonnye has been teaching beginner and intermediate classes at the Rowlett Recreational Center as well as earning medals playing in multiple tournaments.
